We undertook a comprehensive renewal project for the core system in the public competition industry and successfully achieved a cloud shift for a large-scale system that requires high availability through the transition from on-premises to public cloud. The main objective of our client's cloud shift in this project was cost reduction. By shifting a large number of servers that were installed in the data center of the existing system to the cloud, we not only reduced the initial hardware costs and regular equipment update costs but also achieved long-term total cost reduction, including data center usage fees, network line usage fees, and server management costs. The main objective of Aikatec Building Materials Co., Ltd. was to build a core system based on cost calculation that was previously managed in Excel.
